Favorite Sweet or Salty snacks

Do you favor sweet snacks or salty ones in WDW? I love the sweet stuff, and hubby loves the salty things, so we're always warring between cupcakes and pretzels! laugh

Do you have a favorite on either side?

Sweets! All those confectionary shops were kiling me, they're every where! And than my husband couldn't explain to me how we ended up with a giant mickey head rice crispy treat. laugh

I also choose both @ Goofy's Candy. Yummmmm. Swet chocolate and salt all at once. No wonder Disney vacations always require dieting when I get home!

Salty first, then sweet. Never the other way around!

Sweet and Salty! Chocolate Covered Pretzels!

Bali or anyone else, you might know this..do they still have those make your own chocolate covered pretzel stick and rice crispy head thing at Goofy's Candy Store in DTD? I thought I read at one time that they were considered a snack option.

We had a thread a while back about the 'make your own' option at Goofy's, so I'm pretty sure they still do that. I would have to vote for both, and there is one snack that epitomizes the heavenly combination of sweet and savory flavors that you guys need to try...chocolate covered potato chips! Now, I know that may sound odd (and I know that some of you would be all for anything that starts with "chocolate covered...") but they are outstanding. Not dissimilar to chocolate covered pretzels, but arguably even more awesome. I've not seen them in stores, and frankly I'm not sure they'd be as good mass-produced. I've had them made fresh in a candy/fudge shop and they rocked my face off.

I used to work in a candy store and we made hand-dipped chocolate-covered potato chips. You have to use the ruffled ones so that you get maximum surface area to cover with chocolate. Those things are DIVINE. biggrin

All the salty snacks I can think of in WDW are pretty standard. What are some standout salt snacks?

I've heard those are quite popular in Norway. Definitely not something I'd like to try. Strange how there's a lot of "salty" candy in other countries. We just don't have that around here.

You should see the package. The front has a moose head tearing through the box while the back has the moose's 'other end'.

Yeah, and the toasted coconut (a la Chick-O-Sticks) is pretty rockin' with the other flavors.
