First Fantasyland, who's next?

What 'Land" do you think will be the next to be re-vamped? I've heard talk that "Tomorrowland" needs to be upgraded. What are your thoughts?

lol, I don't think it's a matter of being "tomorrow'ish".

I think it's what MK created it to be. Classic rides like Haunted Mansion, IASW, and Splash Mountain have been what they've been for so many years, and people love them. Either because it brings back nice memories of their childhood, or they just love the nostalgia.

Doesn't mean it needs a re-do or renovation......

i think there will continue to be small projects here and there... a while before the next big expansion. I would guess frontierland.. not taking down splash mountain of course, but maybe a new ride

I'm guessing after Fantasyland, the next big expansion will be Avatarland.

Yes, I think the next major expansion will be the avatar thing. I would love them to do something with the studios though.

I would love to see this one happening. But Avatarland is probably the next major expansion.

They just made some changes with "Haunted Mansion" that are incredible! It doesn't take away from the original charm, just adds. The new outdoor queue is great. Some of the new and improved additions inside are awesome. Adds more to the eerieness.

My son would LOVE for Carsland to come to HS. Even more Toy Story rides would be most welcome.

Could you see an expansion of Adventureland over Frontierland or Tomorrowland?

I've always enjoyed Tom Sawyer Island but I hear a lot of people saying its a waste. It could use something new for sure.

After Fantasyland Expansion, Pandora will be next. It sounds as if DHS will get an attraction or two between now and 2016. The other big rumor I've heard about is E Ticket on Tom Sawyer Island around the time Pandora is supposed to open.

Pandora : The World of Avatar. Its what Avatarland is going to be called. Just like how DAK has Asia and Africa, they will treat Pandora as a real place.

I'd like world of color to come to the parks. It would fit nicely in the Fantasmic area and there'd be seating. World of color is AWESOME!

Well I've worked in the industry for a few years. Ive heard that they are seriously considering a water ride that will run around out by the island. Something like Kali River Rapids. But not exactly like that. Sure it might have a good sized drop. But rides of that type can do all kinds of fun things that they couldn't go years ago.

In terms of Pandora, I hear it's going to be really something. If you aren't a fan of Avatar, it'll still be something really neat to see. It will defiantly be something that will be huge. awesome

Any idea on a time frame for Pandora stitch?

I think Inoventions could be totally gutted. It was cool when it first opened and was totally about future technology. But it just feels kind of lame now, never sure what it for kids or if something is even open. It just feels like filler space to me. Epcot deserves something better as one of their parks openers.

Not sure about tomorrow land, but CoP sure does need to be updated, the sooner the better! There is nothing tomorrowish about the future scene!!! Much as I LOVE CoP it irritates me. That and the theater is so old and dingy, very un Disneylike.

i LOVE CoP, and an update would be amazing. One of my favorite parts of Magic Kingdom for sure, but it could be better.

The one id like to see spruced up is HS. But if were talking MK... I think Tom Sawyers Island should be redone to something. I see Disney moving forward and leaving a lot of the old stuff behind because kids know who Phineas and Ferb more now than Mickey Mouse. I don't know what they would do with the island... but I think something needs done.

I also think they need to do something with the Pirates line. Again... don't know what... leave it to the pros... lol

If we were to go with this Al Lutz article, then buoyed by the success of DCA, the folks in Orlando would like to do the same transformation to DHS.
