I thought I had the hang of it for a bit, but then I just realized that I was getting pieces that didn't need to be re-oriented.

I have a strong bias to use the piece in a way which is consistent with my current orientation. I don't think that will help me maximize my score though.

I'm finding that's my problem as well. And then I just get caught up in the cool nintendo box on the floor and forget what I'm doing.
