Significant changes to the Fantasy Land Expansion plans have apparently been made. I hoped and half expected changes like this to come. Think it is a very wise decision. They will still have plenty of princess-y goodness, but will now have plenty of the rest of us as well.
Thanks for the link, LIFL! I think it's funny that they keep mentioning how Staggs has three boys and that's somehow changed the course of Disney's plans! 
It's as though Staggs decided to change the whole thing so his kids could have fun...nothing to do with profits, of course!
I'm excited to hear this. I wasn't 100% enthralled with the plans as they stood.
However, I wonder if this was their strategy all along. Get a flurry of media when the plans are "leaked" then a flurry of media when the plans are "announced" then, a year later, get a flurry of activity when the plans are "changed..." I see a pattern.
I'm so cynical I never assume anything will change for the better. It sounds good on paper, but I'll wait and see what comes of it before I trust those guys to do anything for a reason other than the short-term bottom-line. /cyncial
Hmmm..I have to say that I am excited for the change. In a house full of males I didn't see much Fantasyland in my future.

Annie -- great point. This might have been the strategy to get extra media coverage throughout the loooooooooong construction process. Never thought about that.
