I was planning on going to check out the jazz at Scat Cat's Club anyway, but now it is a sure thing!

Oh my gosh, I love love love what they have done to Scat Cats Club. It looks like a real jazz club now and the duo I saw "Big Easy Swag" was really good.
The Beignets were disappointing to me. They should be extremely light and airy on the inside with large air pockets, and theses were more like a regular doughnut. I would rather have a proper rise on my beignets than have them be Mickey Shaped, quality over cuteness so to speak.
