Last year my travel agent made me aware of a quirk in the free dining plan that passholders can take advanatge of--if the day you check in to your hotel is one of the days that qualify for the free Disney dining, you get free dining for EVERY DAY you are there even if you only buy the minimum 2 day park pass that is required for the free dining package.
For example, I will be staying for 14 days during the Food & Wine Festival. I will pay $377.00 extra for a 2 day base pass for 2 people, and I will get free dining FOR ALL 14 DAYS!!!!
I'm staying at the AKL, so I will get 14 sit downs, 14 counter serves, and 14 snacks FOR EACH OF US all for a total of $377.00.

Remember, you must check in on one of the eligible days and you must buy the "package"--hotel and at least a 2 day park pass. I'll save the pass for another vacation when I don't have a passholder card.
