Grocery Stop....

What things do you usually get on your Grocery Stops? (assuming you rent a car or take a Towncar)

We always get lots of bottled water (can't stand WDW water), Coke for DS if he's with us, Cream for coffee (we bring our own coffee) some bagels & cream cheese, a bag of some kind of snacky food & some fruit.

This trip, we requested a Publix with a Liquor store so we could get a bottle of Coconut Rum & a Bottle of Hpnotiq. We'll add 7-Up & Limes to the grocery list so we can have boat drinks by the pool.

To be honest, the snacks & bagels oiften go to waste. We just don't eat that much in the room.

How 'bout you guys?

Great question.

We get LOTS of water, some fruit, diet pepsi (I can't live without it and the vending machines and $2.00 bottles at WDW are too expensive), chips of some sort and other junk food (gummy bears, pop tarts, etc.), and breakfast bars for me.

We always leave a ton of this in the room because we eat so much at WDW that we can't possibly eat any more in the room, yet we still buy it!

Are you using a towncar company?

Yeah, we use Tiffany Towncars. We've used them for around 10 years now.

Isn't it funny, you always think you're going to need snacks & then you rarely eat them? I gotta say, last trip, it was a bunch of us girls going & we didn't get snacks.... about 3am after partying at Jellyrolls all night, we were really wishing we had those snacks! I would have just about KILLED for some MK popcorn! laugh

When we first started going we would always go to WalMart and buy a ton of pop tarts and candy and snacks and drinks. Then we'd be so stuffed from all our ADRs that we never used any of it. Now we don't go anymore, but this leads to a water shortage. We have to get water and we never remember to go get it until it's night and we're thirsty so we pay an arm and a leg at the convenience stores in the resorts.
