Happy 45th Birthday WDW...

So October 2016, sees WDW celebrating its 45 years of magic..Now apart from my wife celebrating her big 50th birthday next year ( actually it falls in April ) We will be also celebrating our sons 18th birthday which is October 23rd ( Our last day ) But we decided to also celebrate our wedding anniversary, which falls on September 11th, (We were in Los Angeles on that day in 2001, and will never forget it, for all the wrong reasons ) So my wife has realised that 45 years of magic marriage, and our wedding month birthstone, are the same..The Sapphire .... eek ...So I've promised her ( apart from buying her this Dooney & Bourke handbag ) waiting for her birthday, that I would buy her a piece of jewellery that has a Disney theme but also has Sapphires...( Not too many ) ...This question i fling open to our female friends...Where in Disney would be the best place to shop for this item..?...

Wow..Nice, but it says simulated, does that mean it's not an actual sapphire stone.?...I have a small hoop earring with a sapphire stone in gold that I bought years ago..Only about 160 dollars if my memory serves me correct..

WDW is 2 months older than I am...! (And yes, I realise that probably wasn't the most helpful answer! Laughing out loud)

Simulated means not genuine sapphire. It's made in a laboratory to look like a sapphire. It's still a pretty ring, though, and I wouldn't mind someone giving me one. (Hint, hint. wink )

Your best bet is probably Uptown Jewelers on Main Street. If you find something on the online Disney Store, you might be able to call them to see if they carry it, or if you can request it in advance. Disney is usually very accommodating with things like that. How magical would that be? Buying the jewelry you've chosen, and then walking out of the shop to the view of the castle. Smile

And yes, if it says simulated it isn't a "real" sapphire (my b-day is Sept 12th, so it's my birthstone too!).
