Happy to Join!..Finally

Hello from Athens, Alabama.
I registered a couple of weeks ago, and was getting ready to say hello...
then all heck broke loose where I live with tornados...so belately...HELLO WDWFA!

I am 38 years old and my wife and I are DVC members with 150 points at BCV and 75 at BLT.
For the last 3 years our WDW routine has been 2 weeks for F&WF in Oct./Nov. @BCV and a
short week/long weekend in late January @ BLT.

I love this forum at the page in general!... I don't know why it took me so long to register!
I have already learned a few things and had some fun, too.

Please excuse me if I am "clunky" on the forum....This the the first one I have ever registered for.

Well Hello DisDavid,(we shorten everything) Smile Hope the rough weather did not affect you personally. This as you probably already know is a very friendly place, so pull up a keyboard and stay awhile. I too am a DVC member so do you ever try different resorts for different experiences?

I love them all...
If it's popcorn at Fantasmic...CS at Flame Tree BBQ...Dog at Caseys with Cheesecake from Bakery for dessert or nachos at the Mexican pavilion....

If I have to put a ribbon on one....LeCellier at Canada pavilion...

Lucky... we only had minor damage at our house...too close though...

We are in the 4th year of DVC... so far it's just been BCV at BLT with points... we did stay at Port Orleans Riverside before DVC.

Need to get up to speed on the smileys Smile

Do you have any trips booked now. We are going in October and then in January. Octobers trip is booked but so far we have not booked Januarys.

Hello and welcome to a great Disney board full of great people. Me and my hubby who is also on this board (mase) are DVC members and our home resort is animal kingdom lodge. We are goin into our 3rd year of DVC this year and hope to one day be able to try other resorts as well

Wow! 2 Whole Weeks for F&W! Do you go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, too? Any particular favorites at the F&W Fest? We're all big fans of that one around here!

Yes we are booked for BCV from Oct. 22nd through Nov 5th..thats 15 nights! I can't believe it...we are so excited.

We haven't made ressies for Jan yet, but will soon...we have been doing 5 nights at BLT for the week before the Super Bowl...I'm sure we will do the same this year...well next since it's Jan Smile

Yes... we got out tickets for MNSS this week!... The parade at WDW, I think...
Oh my, Favs at F&WF...so much good stuff...Kefta at Morroco is really good...sandwich at Spain hit the spot last year, too!...Maple Glazed Salmon is at 5 star dish every year!...can't forget about beverage....the Dragonberry colada from 2 years ago and the Toasted Cherry Colada I think at Puerto Rico have been favs of mine!

Those are great pics! We LOVED the Belgian offering last year. I hope those are back! And Germany is always a favorite, too. Oh- and the Ace Joker Cider and the Charcuterie booth - yum!
