I'm having a rough day ... I just am.
My boss can't seem to make our "big" client understand some very important basics. I don't think the project is going to hit its milestone goal today. People I thought would come through for me aren't. And I think I bruised my forehead banging it against my desk.
Please send pixie dust.

Well, I kinda fell 10 feet or so from the hay loft onto the concrete floor. And broke it. This is my look for 6 weeks, so I am celebrating it proudly! 
Kristen I understand....I have had too many days like you are having today. I am sending hugs and pixie dust your way.

Kristen, I completely understand! If it helps, I think I just blew something that's going to have a significant impact on my work and some other things. I'm more than a little worried, but mostly just mad at myself.

Nothing got any better today, but I'm trying to just roll with the punches.
I'm so worked up about this whole project, I think I'm going to kick back with a bottle of wine and try to write up the main page post for tomorrow - LOL - so if it sounds a little off you'll all know what happened.

So I woke up today with nothing going better, but so far at least I've got a positive attitude. We're not getting through to our client (his people are in the way) so we've just got to figure out how to make it work on our own.
Today's task... moving mountains! Hahahaha.... I wish I were kidding.

A dear friend gave a set of garden pixies (couldn't find a set of Tinkerbells) to hang in the back of my classroom, so everytime I became frustrated I could look up and remember that all things are possible when you "look up." Of course to most of looking at fairies that means "pixie magic" so you can from there as you wish. Print out your favor character and put it somewhere you can see when you need to remind yourself that you are blessed by all with "pixie dust" and "magic".

I have a sorcerer Mickey on my desk at school, a sticker on my car window, magnets on the fridge, plush Mickey and Minnie's in the kitchen and bedroom, Jim Shore sorcerer Mickey in Office, a Minnie keychain....Mickey happiness within sight at all times. It works.

oldtink I like that. I am going to have to take some of my own pixie magic to work. I work in a hospital where I am constantly answering the phone from the OR and other nursing units asking and some days demanding supplies so I can become stressed in no time.
And Kristen sometimes you have to be like the Yeti and move that mountain outta the way!
