Hey there!!

Hey everyone! Have to say that I'm not usually one for forums but after reading some travel tips here I was actually inclined to make a username for myself. My spouse and I are planning to go to Walt Disney World in January. It will be my third trip (went in 2003 and 2009) and his first. It's also to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary/belated honeymoon (we married right after we moved to a new city and I started a new job so we couldn't take a big trip last year). Obviously, we're pretty excited. Can't wait to join in the conversations!

Hello and welcome! stars

I went on a first anniversary/belated honeymoon trip in May 2010 with my DH as well. I suggest making a picture book of your visit especially since it's your husband's first trip. I use Shutterfly for all of those things. Enjoy your trip...where are you going to be staying?

Thank you! We're budget happy people, so Pop is what I'm looking for. I stayed at Music both other times and it was fine, but Pop just looks so fun. Unfortunately, I can only find information right now through the end of December. Is there generally a time when info for the new year is available?

Welcome! Pop is awesome. I love it there.

You should be able to book a room only a this time. I believe you can book the rooms 499 days in advance. You can't book a package (room, park tickets and dining plan) until the prices are finalized for the new year. You can add the plan when available. They released the ticket prices for the new year so it shouldn't be too much longer for the packages to be finalized. I think it's usually around August.

Yea, thank you! That is quite helpful.

I love your user name - there's a thread in here somewhere that has everyone explain how they chose theirs. Care to share your story?

Thanks, everyone!

Jessi, I forgot about those buttons! We had them for graduation when my friend and I went after college ended. Gotta get them!

Finngirl, I'll see if I can find that thread, but the basic of is it that baking is one of my favorite hobbies, and one of my cat's (pictured) favorite hobbies is to destroy them when they're out cooling. So she is the cookie crumbler.
