Hot dog stands at the Boardwalk

Has anyone tried these. I was looking for a quick bite once and considered these but went with the pizza window instead. Anyone have an opinion on these? Seems like something Joe would have tried.

I like to avoid the boardwalk and the food. It bothers me that people say think it's like Jersey shore foos when our pizza is so much greasier and better! lol So, I have not tried the hot dogs. I gave it one try with their pizza. Fail. laugh

Haven't tried them yet, Brad, but I'm encouraged to see you can get a chili cheese dog on the boardwalk these days. Maybe DW and I will swing by in October to check them out!

Also heard you can get funnel cakes on the boardwalk!

The pizza window on the Boardwalk is horrifying, unless something has changed.

Do you know that as many time as I've been to Disney the ONLY time I've ever seen the Boardwalk is from the MGM/Epcot Boat?? Isn't that crazy!

I have always wanted to go there..it looks like so much fun! Maybe one day!

Is the Pizza Window typical WDW pizza? I just don't get why that pizza is so bad! I'm from South Carolina so it's not like I have really high pizza standards or anything..but good night it's horrible!

We don't make it to the Boardwalk on a lot of trips, however we usually like to hit Yachtsman Steakhouse, which kind of counts. Plus if we go to Yachtsman we probably take a stroll around the water.

This leads me to wonder:

How often do you visit the Boardwalk?

Your right Brad. We have hit the hot dog stand on the BW a # of times. It's OK. Not the greatest, but OK. We also found the pizza to be to our liking. Maybe we are just small town folks easy to please. Anyway it makes life easier to take.
Wouldn't miss a trip to the BW Bakery for an eclair. They must be 2 lbs.
Note the crowds in the picture.
Joe

laugh Wow, Joe -- it's wall-to-wall with those crowds that day mickey I've never had one of the eclairs from the Boardwalk Bakery, but I'll make it a point to do so now. Thanks for the tip.

I've had good luck at the BW bakery as well. Good recommendation Joe, although I have to say the pizza is a different story.

We'll have to retry the pizza.
In the meantime, a visual temptation is in order.

I really enjoy how non-crowded the Boardwalk typically is in the middle of the day.

BTW! The mugs on the table are part of our collection of Resort mugs. They are from the Swan & Dolphin Resorts.

Oh my goodness, now I'm SO hungry for an eclair!!

Love the Swan and Dolphin mugs! Do they have a similar system to Disney's where you buy the mug and refill it as much as you want?

I didn't know the S&D had mugs either! They look a lot classier than the regular resort mugs!

Hey Joe,

Did the S&D get rid of their resort mugs at the same time the rest of the resorts did?
