How do you handle WDW parking?

So how does everyone deal with parking there. We generally drive and then stay on-site so we get free parking.

We get free parking with our AP.

When we do drive down, which is not too often, we always stay on property, and are AP holders and DVC members. so we also get free parking. But we always leave the car in the resort lot, and use WDW transportation whether it be bus, boat, helicopter laugh or whatever. We are always there for a long enough period of time that we can afford to "waste" the time it takes to get anywhere by bus.

Really though, I sometimes wish you could trade in one perk for another. Like if I get 10% of with my DVC membership and 15% off with my Annual Pass, it would be nice if I could trade the 10% off for something else since it's doing me no good. Or if I had 3 different ways to get free parking, if I could get a free ice cream bar instead! clapping

That would be cool. You could just get "perk points" and various perks cost a certain number of points. I would love that system. muchlove

After the drive from NJ the last thing I want to do is drive more so I use the bus systems. They aren't always fast but at least I don't have to drive and that makes me happy!

It really is relaxing not to have to drive. I can't blame you for wanting to skip it. The parks are going to be a bit of a hassle one way or another. When we're popping from resort to resort though the car is really handy. Say if we have dinner at another resort. I think we'd just take a cab if we didn't have a car.
