How to get her Excited!?!

I don't know if any of you have been following my previous posts buuuuuuuut....

I'm taking my girlfriend to WDW for a surprise birthday trip in July. She has no idea. But when I finally do tell her, around Memorial Day:

1) What's the best way to tell her? I was going to tell her, and then show her photos and basic itinerary to show her what kinda stuff we'll see and stuff. And then watch the planning DVD I got from the WDW website. (last time she was at WDW she was "too young to remember".)

2) What's the best way to get her psyched, excited, and pumped for the vacation!?!? I'm a WDW freak if I say so myself...and I want to follow this trip (within the next couple decades) with more trips and vacations with our future family! (I'm proposing lol) What's the best way? Watch Disney movies with her? Listen to Disney music? Any ideas please share!

Thanks!!!!

Hmmm... I think there's two different questions here.

How to reveal the surprise?
and
How to get someone excited about WDW?

For the first question, there are sooooo many choices. You mentioned that you have the WDW planning DVD. What if you arrange for a "movie night" at your place. Get all settled to watch, click play --- WDW!!! Surprise! And then have books, itinerary, color brochures, etc... for her to look at and for the two of you to talk about all night. That's one idea. If you like it, it's yours. wink

As for the second question: Is she a Disney fan? If she is, I don't think you will need to get her excited about the trip at all. It will just be natural. If she isn't a Disney fan, hmm, that could be tough. Sometimes it's difficult to get someone else excited about someone we are excited about if they just don't see it. You know what I mean? I could explain to my husband how incredible chocolate fudge with milk is until I'm blue in the face, but he will never truly get it.
