HP Touchpad Being Discontinued / SUPER SALE!

Ok... for those who don't know... the HP Touchpad has been discontinued after only 2 months on being on the market. HP didn't like the sales figures... so they are pulling there hats from the Tablet race. What does this mean? Well... if you have ever wanted something CLOSE to an iPad... this sucker is it. With the ability to support flash... it has the full internet experience. I actually have one on hold right now at Sams Club. Got a 32 gig. Why am I getting one? Well... for selfish reasons to be honest. My kids use my iPad a lot, and getting another one... well... they won't A... have to fight over it. B.... each one can now watch there own movie in the car.

The downfall with the HP Touchpad is that HP will stop supporting it. So you have to keep that in mind. I for one... Apps are cool. But as long as its on the web... I'm fine. With Amazon going web app based... you don't have to worry about Amazon supporting the HP Touchpad so you can use the kindle part of it.

So yeah.... just thought id let everyone know about this insane deal.

And Russell Brand supports it!

Hey Mase, that now makes two "tablets" that you have doesn't it? Heck if you keep it up we are going to have to call you "Moses" instead of "Mase" with your "tablets" laugh rolling biggrin

I kinda like that... lol

The reason behind me buying it was more of a selfish reason. I got the iPad original for myself to use like a laptop when I wasn't on my PC. Well... my daughter usually takes it over so she can watch her shows, use Netflix and such. So I never get it. And for a powerful tablet at that price that can function as a full web browser with flash... I'm down... lol

So far I love it... but my Touchpad's speakers don't work. So I have to send it back to HP since I can't return it to where I got it due to being sold out... lol

ok.... After having this for a while now, and after some tweaks (over clocking, adjusting sensitivity, shutting off random things) this sucker is amazing! For a web browser... It screams faster than my iPad! I much prefer surfing the net on this over my iPad by far. This site is extremely nice on it. I'm typing all of this on it too. Lol

the reason I bring this back up again is that you could still get one through HP. Still hard but they will be doing one more run of these. This is an amazing pad for the price.
