Jeff and Joe's End of the World Trip

Ok, maybe that's a little dramatic....but it is our last visit before our annual passes expire on May 1. And since we're not renewing for a little while, it does kinda feel like the end of the world laugh

We are staying in Celebration and arrived today. First order of business was to see Avengers:Endgame at Disney Springs.

Joe and I realized on Saturday that we had never watched Infinity War, so we watched that last night in prep for.toxay. Sure helped make sense of this one!

Endgame was amazing. The theater was full and the audience was interactive but not in an obnoxious way - it was really fun. Well worth 3 hours, did not feel like 3 hours and we made it through without a bathroom break. Woo!

Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom morning - we have FPs for Flight of Passage, Lion King and Everest. And I want a last .ink mango pie.

From there we will probably swing over to Epcot to get the Daisy passholder magnets before.taking as break and checking on the dogs.

We will head over to Magic Kingdom later in the afternoon and evening. I want to try and score a FP for Haunted Mansion so we can get the new photos!

And Joe tells me the Disney Food Blog folks say the Hei Hei dole whip thing was back as of a few days ago and we want to try it if it is.

And since I forgot the backpack for waters we have to make a trip to Wal-Mart before anything tomorrow. Which will.give me a chance to scope out the latest merchandise. Win win!!

Beautiful but packed morning at AK! FoP was a 195 minute wait at 10 am. Hallelujah for FP. Even the Everest FP line was longer than I've seen in a while. We spotted Kevin out and about too.

We headed over to Epcot after AK for just a bit. They've blocked off the regular entrance from the parking lot and send you to the left and around to get to the security check and park entrance.

We had the Nutella fresh berries waffles for dinner last night - these are really good. I'm still waiting for our Haunted Mansion picture. We also hit up PoTC, Tiki Room, Buzz, and People Mover. We had a nice evening. Hollywood Studios this morning and then home.

Hoohrah for the Hei Hei cone! I hope it continues to stick around.

And I second that the Spaceship Earth photo is fantastic!

Tuesday was Hollywood Studios morning and it ended up being a bit of a fail. We got there around 9:30 am, with a FP for Rock N Roller Coaster at 9:40. Security and the entrance was a breeze but we suspected a problem. When we got back to the upside down car and face throngs of people coming out - and not just the normal flow of people existing the ride after they were done.

Sure enough, the CM at the FP entrance was telling folks the ride was down due to technical difficulties. A few minutes later we got the notification on MDE and an alternative FP.

We decided to do Star Tours via standby (said 5 minute wait) and hold on to the FP to see if RNR came back up in a bit. 5 minutes was more like 15 but that's still reasonable. We were in line behind a group of 5 - 4 adults and a child - from another country. They were really loud talkers. And they spent the majority the ride yelling to the child explaining what was going on. And the child was sitting next to me. Not the best ride experience. Dirty looks and shhhs from me and the others around it all didn't make a difference. Annoying. waiting

We had a FP for the Frozen sing along for the show between 11:30-12 - I was trying to hit things we never did before and this sounded like it could be funny . But before we got in line we found out we needed to be out of the apartment we were staying at by 1 pm. Since we wanted to go to Disney Springs before we left, we decided to skip Frozen and forgo the alternative FP, and left HS by 11 am.

We swung by the Muppet store and see if they happened to be giving out the 30 year anniversary merchandise. The CM was supposed super nice but said nope, not until tomorrow! I figured but had to ask.

On the way out we saw some filming outside Prime Time. They had 2 mannequins in costumes. We found out when we got home it was the new CM costumes for Oscars service station. I should have taken some pics but didnt. But below is what a saw - thanks Disney Food Blog for the pic!!

We went to DS, picked up a few things and went back to the apartment, packed up and headed home. I'll post some pictures of what I bought this time.

And that was the end to our year of Disney as Passholders! I expect we will renew sometime early next year.

Does that mean you're done with Disney for the year? I'm not sure I could live so close and handle that.

Jeff I was hoping you two could come down to see us while we are there in Sept. (10 through the 25th). Hope you can make it happen. crossfingers Even if you can make it a non park day.

Yep! At least as of today Smile But we have a few weeks to take advantage of the discounted renewal in case we change our mind.

I figure we won't go at all over the next 5-6 months anyways to it makes sense to just get them when we decide to go, after the summer and after the big opening.

It's the royal we....I'm pretty sure he was the one that handed the credit card to the cashier.

That's part of my pin collection! I love pins as well. Those ones are in a frame; I'm still working on getting the rest organized since we moved. A work in progress! Haha. Anne feel free to share pics as well!

We both love pins here is my pin vest (the non traders) cannot find G's photos of his. We have a few framed sets (the Xmas party set 2018) I started to collect the ugly sweater ones last year which I love.

And I see we share some of the same, esp. the 2013 HM Happy Haunts. Joe got me the set of 4 for my birthday that year.

Those mine train ones are beyond adorable!!!!!!

Looks good, weighs an absolute tonne and hurts my neck after a while! We have loads more we don't know what to do with that are in a drawer Sad G loves Grumpy, Chip n Dale and Tink so he has quite a few of those. Problem with them being so heavy is that if we bring them we have to fly business for the luggage allowance clapping
