Nice JoAnn! I'm just curious..how can you get on a payment plan like that? My parents have never done that and I asked tem about it and they knew nothing about it! Maybe if they knew about it they'd be more likely to make another trip to Disney!

When you book a vacation package, you put down a deposit and make payments as often and as much as you can. The trip has to be paid off 45 days prior to arrival.
I meet friends there but I always book my own package so the deposit has been $200. The only I'm not sure about if the deposit is $200 / per person or total.

I think it's $200 deposit no matter what. That was our option for deposit as well, but we were able to pay it all in one chunk. Payment plans are a great option though and we totally would have done that if we didn't happen to have the money on hand.

I talked to one of my friends that I'm going with yesterday and she said our other friend wanted to have a full day of relaxing during the trip. I'm cool with that. They both had a rough year. I can certainly understand. I looked at our ADRs and suggested having Wednesday as their relax day. I switched the lunch and dinner ADRs which works better for having lunch at Sanaa so I can see the animals.
Below are my updated ADRs
Thursday - dinner @ Art of Animation*
Friday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ F & W Festival and dinner @ Whispering Canyon Cafe
Saturday - breakfast @ Cape May Cafe*, lunch @ F & W Festival* and dinner @ HDDMR*
Sunday - breakfast @ Cinderella's Royal Table* and dinner @ 50's Prime Time
Monday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern and dinner @ Yachtman's Steakhouse*
Tuesday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ Tusker House and dinner @ Restaurant Marrakesh*
Wednesday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ Sanaa* and dinner @ Les Chefs de France
Thursday - breakfast @ 1900 Park Fair*, lunch @ Sci-Fi and dinner QS
Friday - breakfast @ Pop and lunch @ Via Napoli

I've been checking Southwest regularly to see if the earlier flight to Orlando went down in price. Each time I've checked it went up. I checked again today and it went down, so I changed my flight. It was still a little more than what I paid for my original flight. Instead of landing at 2:15pm, I'll be getting in at 10:40am!!!!!
This will give me more time to explore AoA and have lunch there. I'm thinking of heading over to DTD and having dinner at Earl of Sandwich.
Getting there earlier is worth it!!! DTD and EoS is a winner in my book!
