Hi Sarah! Welcome to the boards! I'm not sure I've ever met a split DVC owner (one on both coasts) I think that sounds like a really fun idea. This may be a dumb question (I know very little about DVC and DL), but you can use the DL points at WDW and vise versa, right?

Points are points, you can use them anywhere! We just did it so we had that extra time to book what we want (usually nothing smaller than a 1 bedroom) We are looking into buying at Hawaii also!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Yes, Hawaii does look awesome! My whole family buys into one account in DVC for all of us to use. My kids and/or I (yes I have been on an adult only trip!), since we have bought into DVC (1 1/2 years ago) have been to WDW 3 times and DLR once (second trip in Nov and 3rd next April) So we go pretty often!
