The Legend of Jack Sparrow Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

So as a BIG Capt Jack (and Johnny Depp!) fan, I was pretty intrigued to hear about the new "The Legend of Jack Sparrow" attraction that will be opening this fall at DHS. I'm so happy DHS is gettin' some love! And it's pretty cool that they're branching out there with a story that we think of as so MK, but, you know, it's a movie...so it works!

So what do you think this will be? Simulator? Show? I think it's interesting that it will be availably relatively shortly, which makes me think it can't be a ride, but then again, it's new, so it might have been in the works for a while.

Very interesting. Huge Pirates fan here. I wonder if "the hot stage" by toy story mania might be the place for this attraction. I would definetley check it out this december when me and the DW is there.

Although I agree this sounds like it could really be cool, I do have to wonder with the quick speed it will be ready if it is more like that Narnia thing which to me is really really bad.

I am just curious as to where this attraction will be going into. The only thing I know of that is going out is "Sounds Dangerous" But if they took "Idol Experience" that could be a large enough area to work with.

I've heard from Disney CM blogs that its actually going in the place where the Prince Caspian thing was. That's been closed for quite some while.

That was going to be my guess as to where it was going to be. Interested to see what this ends up being...Will have to check it out when we are there in November.

I can see it being like the Narnia one (which was a huge let down). Hopefully it's way better. Considering it's Captain Jack though, in my opinion it's already better
