Let's see your Holiday decorations!

I know JeffC and JoAnn have had the boxes out of the attic since Labor Day..now it's time to show 'em off! I want to see your Holiday decorations..Disney or not!

We went and got our tree today from a Christmas Tree farm. Nothing says Christmas than cutting down our own tree, hayrides, hot chocolate and 70 degree weather. Okay, the 70 degree weather is a bit abnormal and slightly annoying. Christmas is here.

Here is our tree all bare. We will decorate her tonight! She's gorgeous and my entire house smells like tree.

Once it's all decorated and other stuff is up I'll post more..in the meantime let's see yours!

That's a great tree, Bella! Hope you have a ton of fun decorating it. Can't wait to see pics!

Here's where we are so far:

The tree is pretty much done

The front room is coming along nicely:

And I put this wall art up in the kitchen where Joe can see it pretty much all day while he's working way!

I need more stuff.

Joe told me today "You realize we can never have anyone over now...."

WHAT?!!?

I wish we could have a Disney Christmas Tree and decorations. My Dad does that to his tv up in his loft. He just bought a nice Disney Train as well that goes around it.

Us.... were slacking. We dont have our stuff up yet. But when we do... I bet Jess will get pictures up... lol

Pics are great! I've only just started. I have the nativity set out and a bunch of boxes in the entryway. But Bella - beautiful tree! And Jeff, not only are your decos adorable, but I love your house! The shutters and paint color - awesome! The color actually looks very similar to what we have in our bedroom.

I'll be back to post soon, I promise!

We have a homemade Disney tree. I always wanted a disney tree, so last year Mike made me all kinds of mickey ear ornaments and a Mickey tree topper. Our homemade tree is so fun and creative I absolutely LOVE it and it's even better because Mike made it all for me! We get all kinds of ideas from Disney, then make our own. It won't be up til next weekend, and I will post pics. I may have some from last year, I'll have to look.

I have just started putting stuff out. my tree has been up for about a week now, just not decorated. since it's our first christmas together as a married couple Ed and I want to do it together. However, our schedules have been so jam packed. I'm hoping tonight after the football games he'll want to do it. However, he is at a friends and didn't drive. So who knows what kind of state he will be in. sarcastic

Jeff, that is a MAGICAL tree! I just put mine up today. I'll have to try to take some pictures. No Disney on my tree though, only antique ornaments, red & silver balls and ribbon. Looks beautiful, but not as fun as yours!

Bella, can't wait to see your decorated. Its a gorgeous tree!

Am I weird because the main thing I noticed in all this is that JoAnn has the exact same wooden TV dinner tray as we have?

Love all the trees! It's fun to see everyone's take. Keep the pics coming. Julie, I really hope we get to see pics of the handmade tree! I'll download a few later. Ours is a mash up of family heirlooms and new ornaments to fill in the holes, but there's a nod or two to Mickey and friends as well.

If I were to post photos of my holiday decorations, you would see a small ceramic pilgrim statue, a straw turkey, and some Indian corn. Yep. Still decorated for Thanksgiving. Christmas decorations won't begin to go up till this weekend, and the tree will be later than that.

No, that's awesome! That's how we were growing up. But it changed when I went off to college. Our first term didn't end until Dec 22 or 23, so we started putting the tree up Thanksgiving week so I could enjoy it. The only casualty were the fresh cranberries and popcorn that I strung. The cranberries tended to get a little wrinkledy Smile

Oh my gosh, such great Disney trees! They are totally fabulous. eek I feel like a total slacker as a Disney fan now.

Our tree has some Disney ornaments (I'm a sucker for a glass slipper) but it's overall feel is Christmas-y, not Disney. I'll see if I can get a decent picture or two today.
