Made my ADRs today!

Made my ADRs today and got everything I wanted! yay It was so easy, even the reservationist was surprised we were done in 10 minutes.
The only problem I had was trying to book Chefs de France Wed night
(5/6)--she said there no times left that night. So I just switched it
with some plans I had on another night, no problem.

5/6 lunch Coral Reef

5/6 dinner Kona Cafe

5/7 lunch Yak & Yeti

5/7 dinner Chefs de France

5/8 lunch Brown Derby

5/8 dinner Spoodles

5/10 dinner Wolfgang Puck

I'm also joining a DISer on Sat night for her ADR at Bluezoo.

I'm drooling already.

Surprisingly high number of places I have never been. I think my WDW credibility is taking another hit. 100% new restaurants for you?

Hooray!! Congratulations! Those look great. I love Chefs de France and Yak and Yeti is great.

Can't wait to hear how Coral Reef has changed since I was last there.

So my mission is to report back, huh? awesome I hope I remember to take better notes than I did during my recent trip to New Orleans.

I have eaten at Wolfgang's and Chefs before (and loved them!); the others are all new to me.

I'm so glad it was easy for you SoloFriendly mickey Whenever I'm making ADRs I always have to move things around a million times, check park hours, check parade times, and reconsider travel time before I can get even close to finished. I'm sure the disney operators just love when I call laugh

Well, there's no telling as to whether I might have to revise my plans if the calendar's EMH dates change. But so far, so good. Knock wood.

The good thing about going solo (or even duo) is that you really don't have to worry too much about schedule changes--at least not as much as you would if you were working around the schedules of several people and/or a few kids.

I always find it really nice to be able to plan, but not worry too much if I have to throw that plan out the window.

I'd have to say Kona Cafe, mostly because it's part of an overall evening experience. I plan to spend the evening at the Poly, enjoying the torchlighting ceremony, a Lapu Lapu at the Tambu Lounge, wandering the grounds, and watching the electric water pageant from the beach. If I could afford to stay at the Poly, I'd be staying there. I think it's the most beautiful of the Disney resorts. So instead, I get to pretend I'm staying there for one night. I hope it doesn't rain that night.

I feel that way sometimes, however I think you get most of the benefit of a resort by "visiting" it. Really a room is a room, about the only really compelling thing to me would be to stay in a monorail resort because you have such great transport options. Other than that, stay at a moderate and visit all the deluxes!
