I have made reservations for Feb.13 through the 16 th at AS Sports. I will try to change that to Pop Century as that was our favorite Resort. My 23 year grand daughter will be with me. She will be making me a great grand father in March and is being a sweetheart to her Grandpa.

Only 2 weeks to go. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle being there without Jan. My grand daughter is a blessing for me. She will be using Jan's power because we don't want any deliveries until Jan's birthday on March 6th. It's going to be a close call.

We don't take it lightly, Joe. I'm really praying for the two of you to have a wonderful time. I'm sure your trip will be bittersweet as you relive lots of memories. But I think it's so brave of you both to keep going on, to celebrate Jan's memory.
Your story and your love have sure touched this community, and caused us all to value everyday we have with our loved ones. Further, it's really helped me to be more patient while I'm in the parks. After all, we never, ever know what the person beside us is going through, do we? And isn't it nice if we can help them to make memories?...even if it's just by displaying patience.
Thank you all for understanding. Mine and Jan's sincerest wish was always that every married could know love as we have.
Fl. resident rooms are like air mile seats. There are only so many rooms rented at that rate and the rest are at the standaed rate. Well I know there are always empty rooms even when the Fl. res. ones are all booked. I have been calling once a week to see if I could change my reservations from All Star to Pop Century. Today, after explaining about Jan and how many times we were at Disney (56) and why we loved Pop's, I asked the CM at reservations if she could find someone with the authority to make an exception for us. She activated the Disney Magic and got it done. My grand daughter and I will be staying at Pop Century from Feb. 13 to Feb 17. It's got to be a good time guys cause Jan's workin it from where she is.

Oh Joe..I love that you were able to get POP. Like Lizzy said I am sure it will be a bittersweet trip with a lot of tears. I am glad that you are continuing to go. I would hate to see you shut off that part of your life. I know Jan is with you ALL the time and I bet she can't wait to get back to WDW!

Got back home yesterday afternoon. We had a wonderful time. My grandaughter was just a sweetheart to me. There were many tea rfull moments but in a beautiful way. Of course my grandaughter got anything she wanted and it was worth it. She never asked for anything but if I thought she liked something I asked her. If she said yes she got it.
I am glad we went but I don't think I want to do it again soon. Without Jan it just doesn't work. My grandaughter has all the pictures.

I'm glad you're back safely, Joe. I'm so glad it was a special time, even if it wasn't easy. Maybe as you think over the time of your visit, it will start to seem even better in retrospect. I know that happens for me sometimes. It's only in the review of something that I get the full measure of enjoyment from it.

So good to hear from you Joe. I'm glad you went on the trip; hopefully it helped the healing process along. And even if you're not ready to go back again soon, I do hope you're able to head to Disney World to enjoy that new little baby's first visit to Mickey someday.
