The Magic River At WDW..

Good Morning Everyone..Now I wasn't quite sure where to post this..I was looking for a resort forum, but couldn't see one..Anyway here's my story..Are you sitting comfortable.?.Then I'll begin..For the past two years I've been a member on another WDW fan base web site..( I've now left due to personnel circumstances ) So my story begins in 2008 on our first stay at PORS..We were crossing a bridge from Parterre Place to the food court one early morning, when we saw this family throwing a coin into the Sassagoula river, and making a wish. When we crossed over,a CM was standing watching the family, and he told us a story of a couple who had been trying to start a family, one year they heard about this magical wish that if you toss a dime into the river from this bridge, your wish will come true..Two years later, the couple came back to PORS on vacation, with their new baby girl..Now I told this story on the other Disney site, and a female member who had been trying for several years to start a family, said she would give it a go as she was going there at Easter..Last month she put a message on the forums that she was pregnant, and she and her hubby were in disbelief.. eek ...So was I...I sent her a congratulations, and she still was coming to terms with this amazing news..Has anyone else tried the dime/wish at PORS..In fact, has anyone else heard about this so called lucky river..?...

Oh that is a wonderful story! I was at POFQ last year,
had I known this I would have tossed a coin and made a wish..
(It would not have been to get pregnant though! eek )

Wow! That's wonderful. No, I had never heard that. Wish I would have known as we just stayed at POR and I definitely would have made a wish!

And the same, it sure wouldn't have been for pregnancy! silly
