Magnolia Bend

We absolutely LOVE Magnolia Bend aka mansion buildings at Port Orleans Riverside. We've only ever stayed though at the sections of "Oak Manor" and "Acadian House". Is there a major difference in the other sections?

Hi Kristen, you will LOVE it!!! It's quiet, peaceful, and just charming. The grounds are beautiful, great food court, pool is awesome. You can go fishing, boating, or take a horse-drawn carriage ride.

Do you mean between the mansions or between the mansions and Alligator Bayou?

I've only stayed in the Mansions (Magnolia Bend both times) and I love the mansions. They are so elegant and peaceful. I have to admit I'm not a fan of the looks of Alligator Bayou. We walked around down there on one trip and the outside isn't so bad..but it's just not for me.

I'll be staying at POR for the first time in November. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

We finally went and walked around PO FQ and Riverside a couple of weeks ago. Gorgeous! It was so fun to finally see the place that y'all have talked so much about. I'll post some pics when I finally finish that TR Smile

Well, looks like I won't get to stay at PO. I was able to find a race sponsor for accommodations so I'll be staying off property for the first time ever. Very unsure about that, but I couldn't pass up the price tag. crossfingers
