He's the color of a chocolate Lab, we think he might be part Pitt and great Dane. He'll be 2 next month and weighs 85lbs of muscle Smile

In 1991 my Y camp held an international camp. We had people from all over the world and we had a day at Disneyland. I was picked to drive the Mark Twain, I still have the certificate somewhere. We sang Disney songs, had pictures with Mickey and a luncheon at the DLhotel. I'm still friends with several people from that trip.
If I may my second favorite memory is of buying all of the Mickey head balloons and then passing them out to people as I walked around. It was a blast.

Tokyo Disney Sea is by far my favorite outside the US.( I haven't been to Hong Kong yet.) TDS and their version of the ToT is awesome. It has a unique feel to the rides and shows like nothing we have in the US.
I had fun in Paris but it didn't feel like Disney fun.
Tokyo Disneyland is enjoyable. I love the Winnie the Pooh ride, store and Christopher Robin's room. There's also a honey flavored popcorn stand. Japan is where I had my first non caramel corn popcorn. It was tasty awesome

To be honest I really don't remember. I remember running around and enjoying myself but it doesn't really have that magical feeling like the US or Japanese parks. It's odd because I'm a food picture taker and I don't have any food pictures from Paris Disneyland. Aside from the novelty of being there it really was kind of odd. I'm hoping to go back once more and spend maybe 2-3 days there and try and get the feeling of the parks but for the one day it's really just a notch off my bucket list. sad
Now the Tokyo parks are totally different. I love sushi and Japanese food so I have tons of pictures from restaurants there. They have a totally different palate and I enjoyed it very much. I had no idea popcorn could come in so many varieties. awesome We ate at Hokusai and it was delicious yay

That's the only one I haven't visited. I'm hoping to go in the summer of 2013 with a side trip back to Tokyo for another round at TDL and TDS. I'm excited as well, I know it's small but they are making so many upgrades to the HK park. It should be a fun time.
What parks have you visited?

wow great question... You're making me think so early in the morning biggrin

My sentimental likes will always be Haunted Mansion and Pirates. If I only ride two rides in MK it's those and I could walk around the park, not riding any other rides and be totally happy(that includes my beloved Winnie the Pooh ride). I honestly love the Universe of Energy aka the Ellen ride. I think Bill Nye the Science Guy is funny, Ellen is too but I just like BNtSG and the video footage of all the places they visit and I'm a sucker for corny jokes wink I love the Muppet movie and It's a bug's life...again the corny joke thing makes me giggle. I love going to the Conservation station and checking out the exhibits or watching the Vets care of the animals.

My dislikes I do not like It's a Small World, not even as a kid growing up at Disneyland. It's a fun ride to look at and the history is fantastic but I just can't stand it... yuck I only go on it and hold my tongue when going with newbies. They shouldn't miss out on a classic ride because I don't like riding the ride. I could take or leave the RnR, it's a fun ride but the audacity of Aerosmith not wanting anything Mickey visible because of the Aerosmith brand has always turned me off. Especially after Steven Tyler became a judge on American Idol, talk about selling out, but that's my own issue. Again it's one of those rides that I will go on with Newbs but if there's any sort of line I'd rather wait for ToT. Soarin' is a fun ride but again I could skip it and not feel at a loss. Without kids I rarely venture into Fantasyland unless It's early and I'm getting my Winnie the Pooh ride in...I haven't been on a teacup since I was probably 10 years old.

I consider myself a Disney fanatic but really it's just the magical atmosphere of being there. I think that's why I love The Food & Wine fest so much, I can visit the parks and feel the magic, then hop over to Epcot to eat and people watch. Once I've ridden HM and/or PotC I'm good and done. I like TSM and ToT and all the Mountains but I don't need to go on them every trip.

Wait until you ride the Japanese version of ToT the story line is fun and not a twilight zone take. It's really fun.

Who would you take from this board? And what would be the first thing you would do at Disney?

Yes, I bought them from one vendor, she was very surprised. I did this at Disneyland in 1990, they were the solid color Mickey heads that use to deflate one ear by the next day. At the time they were maybe $2.50-3 each balloon. I had several people want to buy them from me. It was one of the best moments to see faces light up. My friend EJ ended up working at Disneyland on the Storybook ride. We had a blast handing them out.

Hello fellow Buckeye state resident awesome
I'm still relatively new to the boards so I really have no idea who I'd take. I think JeffC, JoAnn C and I would have fun wandering aimlessly from ride to ride based off of their posts and TRs alone. I think we'd grab some food and beverages and get a plan of attack for the parks.

Yeah.... we live outside of Columbus. Im a huge OSU fan, and Blue Jackets fan when I'm not thinking of Disney... lol

So another question.

Prize possession that you have gotten from any of the Disney Parks, and since you've been to a lot of the different parks... what is your favorite ride out of all of the Disney parks?
