Joe and I met in 1999, at a cafe in Minneapolis. I was there reading the Sunday paper and he was there with some friends. We exchanged glances ALOT. I went back the next Sunday hoping to see him again, and he was there! He actually asked me out, we went a few days later, and we've been together ever since muchlove It was truly a love at first sight kinda thing.

He's a Disney fan, though not as obsessed as I. It was he who planned our very first trip, in 2001. I never really though about Disney as a vacation spot, and he surprised me with a trip. I got hooked! I don't think he quite expected that - haha. But we have a great time together when we go.

Wow, so many!! But I think my all-time favorite was when I walked into our room in 2009 and Joe arranged for the Mickey & Pals Big Birthday Wish

Hi Luv & thanks! We've taken 6 trips so far. Here's a breakdown:

April 2001, April 2003, April 2005, May 2008, September 2009, December 2010

When I was a kid, we went as a family in 1971 - my Dad had to be one of the first to this new place! I only have very vague memories though.

Thanks Dee! It's a pretty funny/cute story. That second Sunday I picked a table that was right next to where he was with his friends. It was a long bench seat that was shared between our tables.

So after a little while, I casually put my left hand down on the bench. Sure enough, he soon put his right hand down on the bench. I slowly would inch mine over towards his, and he would do the same until our hands were touching. Then he scooted over and asked me if I would go out with him. silly

Do you have any dirty little Disney secrets? Like is there something you love that most others seem to think is just okay or do you really not like something that most others seem to think is the greatest?

Where is that pic of you sitting next to Goofy taken at?????? DH and I are trying to figure it out, but we have never seen that one! Most definately a photo op for sure if we had. biggrin

I'm thinking MK, somewhere? Could we have walked right by it and not seen it? If it was in Mickey's Toontown, we never made it over there...... sad

I agree about the cream cheese pretzels! We tried one in DCA this December while waiting for World of Color. I love pretzels and I love cream cheese but they do not go well together at all!

If you could only go to one of the parks for the rest of forever, which would you choose and why?

Thanks! And yes, weird is a good word to describe them. I think it's the only food I've ever thrown away without finishing at WDW. Ever.

It is at Magic Kingdom! After you enter the park at Main street, it's to the right, in front of Tony's Town Square Restaurant. I've heard a rumor that if you actually sit on his lap, he speaks! No idea if true, and I was not really willing to find out Tongue

OOoo, tough one! I'd probably go with MK, because it has the most diversity for what I like as far as rides, I love their rope drop best, and could end every day with Wishes fireworks for the rest of my life. And massive opportunities for people watching. Oh, and of course, it's home to COSMIC RAY'S!!
