I saw this post on tickets going on sale for Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland, and I had to do a doubletake. I can't remember if I knew Disneyland did a Halloween party, too. I'd love to hear from our West Coasters what you think about it. It sounds like there are some neat events!
Has anyone done both Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland, and MNNSHP at WDW? How do they compare?
It used to be called Mickey's Trick or Treat Party and they have done it at DCA in the past. I believe this is the first year it will be done at Magic Kingdom..I bet it will be awesome because I know DL goes all out for Halloween..especially in the Haunted Mansion.

I haven't done either one but I have always thought that MNSSHP sounds so much better. I think 2009 was the first time they did it at DL but I am not 100% sure..
I havent done the DL one recently.. in the past they HAVE had it at DCA but not every year. In fact I think it was only once or twice and people really made it known that DL is better.
That being said.. the time I DID go to the DL one, was one of the first years they had it.. I wont tickets on the radio. It was "ok" a cute experience. They had the trick or treating... cookie decorating... characters in costumes.. but no parade and no fireworks. I'm not sure if they have it now, I do NOT think they do.
The Haunted Mansion holiday happens every year.. starting in Oct and ending in January..it's not only for the Halloween parties.
Now then, I've gone to WDW's halloween party 3 times and it's just sooo much better. Just a much grander scale and there's just so much more to it. The parade really sells it to me though.. it's awesome to see that headless horseman go by!

Hmmm...Good to know. I thought they were comparable. MNSSHP is sooo cool. Yes, we thought the headless horseman was AMAZING!

I am still kinda avoiding Disney stuff, I havent seen Cars 2 yet, and I dont think I'll go see Winnie the Pooh yet. Also, I havent been to a mall either! (but that's probably a good thing)
I've pretty much just been focusing on finding a job! man, it's TOUGH out there!
