monsters inc a classic?

am i the only one who thought this movie was a classic? i know it did well at the theaters, but i never see anyone mention it as their favorite. i've always kind of caught context clues from people that they think its one of the lesser pixar films. i thought it was wonderful.

I LOVE Monsters Inc. It's one of those movies I could watch again and again and again.

I think people really love this. The opening of Monsters Inc attractions at Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland (I think...) shows that the Execs think so, too.

While I liked the movie, I do think it is inferior to most of the other Pixar movies ( it just doesn't have the heart, the characters, the visuals, or the effects the Toy Story movies, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles all have).

I'm interested to see how "UP" pans out in regards to those standards. Has anyone heard any preview comments?
