So it's raining here in Trenton, NJ AGAIN!
My usual 12 minute commute turned into 45 minutes.
So hoping our sump pump can keep up. We had about an inch of rain during Irene and this flooding came on much faster than that storm. We aren't in a flood zone, but there's just no place for the water to go.
Cleanup cut into our Disney fund, I don't want to have to dig even deeper.

We just found out that the County I work for is closing early at 2:30 instead of 4:30 because the flooding is getting worse. Great to get out 2 hours early

Well things could have been worse, our basement has held it's own thus far. Now we have to get thru rains predicticed for tonight and Saturday. Then we need lots and lots and lots of sunny days!

I'm glad every thing is good so far. There has been a lot flooding here to (CT). Luckily I haven't been impacted by it. Hope the weekend is sunny and dry for you.

On the other hand basements fascinate me. I'd never even heard of a basement until I was about 19..then I saw one and it blew my mind. It's like an entire house UNDER your house! I wish we had them down here!

Well, ours is more like an ugly room made up of a cement floor with cinderblock walls that houses storage and our washer and drier, but it is large, lol.
