The Most Confusing Thing at Disney World?

If you haven't been very often, what things still confuse you a little bit? If you have been, thinking back what things did it take you a while to figure out?

This may sound dumb but the first time we stayed at POFQ, we could not for the life of us find it via car. We thought the signs to that resort were particularly confusing. We still mess it up now and then. That's the only one we have trouble with for some reason.

Jeff that is the reason that even if we drive down, we still take the bus to the resorts and leave the driving to them. Bus drivers never get lost, although we did have one driver once that I am not so sure about and I still say he appeared to drive around aimlessly for a while. laugh

Yep! I can remember driving in circles around the place trying to find my way around! laugh

Also, finding my way around DHS can be confusing from time to time. It gets kind of convoluted back there around the streets of America, Muppets, and Pixar Place!

It's the road layout for me too. Even with all the signs I can get a bit dissorientated. Good job I'm not driving.

I have a simplified mental map I use to get around Disney World now. I'm going to make a drawing of it one day because I think it could be helpful for people. I do think the roads are probably the most confusing thing there.

The most confusing thing to me is figuring out why so many people go to WDW without pre-researching anything. As they wander aimlessly asking the simplest of questions which had they bought 1 guide book ahead of time they'd known the answer to.

It never ceases to amaze me, lol.

Agreed! DHS is always confusing to me. I can't visit that park without a map. My husband knows it off by heart but I'd get lost there if you spun me in a circle, lol.

Bus routes. Getting from resort to resort, which is something we don't have to do often. It even confuses TTC cast members, who gave us wrong information the last time we were there, which cost us about an hour :-/
