The Most Magical Ticket In The World..

Good Morning Folks...Well last night we had a visit from friends who are planning their first WDW trip..They have two teenagers who are now classed as adults which means their 14 day park hopper will be PS280 each..($420) therefore tickets alone will cost them PS1120..( $1680 ) Hope I've converted that correct...So what do I get for this ticket...So I told them...You can hop from park to park in the same day...You get onto all attractions..You get to see all the live shows..Stop right there.. eek What live shows.?..So I told them all from Festival to Fantasmic...Then there's the two water parks....Stop right there... eek What water parks...They had no idea they TL and BB existed..So after several cups of coffee and armed with my " Unofficial WDW book " they left excited and over the moon...I could understand where they were coming from..But when you work it out, that's PS20.00 a day ($32 ) for all this magical entertainment...Now I've no idea what price my American buddies pay for their tickets, but the UK 14 day park hopper is great value..If I remember correctly I paid almost PS100 ($160 ) for the three of us for one day tickets to a water park in Cyprus two years ago...So what are your feelings on park admission prices..Do you think it's great value..I for one certainly do.. yay

If it's the uk only ultimate ticket you also get, mini golf and disney quest included. When you consider our local zoo is PS25 a ticket a cinema ticket in the uk right now is PS12 and a west end show is about PS60 a ticket it's a great deal for your money.

It was cheaper to spend three days at disneyland paris that one night in London to go and see wicked!

Totally agree...Yes we done Disney Quest on a rainy day one year..Haven't done the Mini Golf..I've often said that the Festival of the lion King in London would be expensive...PS60 a ticket for a west end show eek ...

It's all subjective really. No it isn't "cheap" but for us travelling from the UK it isn't crazy money.Disney does seem to be squeezing out the casual visitor ( spur of the moment one day trip) and encouraging the foreign markets. This is probably down to the fact that they make more money on the international sector as they are more likely to stay "inside the bubble" so all their spondoolies go into Disney coffers.

PS60 and that is seating up in the gods, it was PS100 a ticket for floor seats for wicked, other countries don't really understand what a great deal disney is for us Brits, we live 4 train stops from London a ticket from my house to Liverpool street is PS40 return a west end show could cost PS100 and diner would be at least PS30 a head, so for a couple that is PS340 for a day out.

Local theme parks in England are at least PS50 a ticket which in dollar rate is the same as a day ticket to MK! For theme parks that would fit in to the size of the MK carpark, most of which have no shows, no dark rides, are in great disrepair and the home of the worst food on the planet.

When we tell people we are going the WDW again they look at us like we are mad, but great weather, great food, great service, great shows, great rides..... It's a great deal.

P.s
Do you think Scotland will still be included in the UK only ultimate ticket if you get your independence? Will you be moving south?

LOL...Hey that's a good question...There's so much debate going on right now, then my friend who lives on
The Isle of Man sent me photos of their currency..The British pound with the Queen on it..I think if we get Freedom, sorry, independence, our 14 ticket will be called The Scottish Golden 14 day ultimate adventure ticket..Stamped by the oil and gas companies..J.R.Ewing signature on every ticket.. laugh

Not all of us are rich like you and can afford our own private yacht wink Boats out of here are just as expensive as the airlines and if there is a sniff of wind they get cancelled ...

I would love it if the vote was affected by the uk ultimate ticket, a full march and protest.

You painted up like William Wallace but with mouse ears on

"They may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR 14 DAY ULTIMATE HOPPER TICKET!!!"

Mr Fergus needs to keep an eye on the Euro/US exchange rate for when they become "Independant"

we loved the mini golf! Fairways was a challenge and took us almost 2 hours but it was a blast! We can't wait to play the other 2 courses (and Fairways again) in November. It is a must on our trips. I have never been to the waterparks but we are looking forward to that one of these trips!

The USD being low right now (compared to PS and EU) is definitely a plus for UK and European visitors. We visited my beloved London last year. Wow. I mean, WOW on the expense and pricey exchange rate. I adore the UK, but we could have gone to WDW four times for what a week in the UK cost last year. And that was in moderate accomodations and eating at Pret all week!

I personally paid nothing for my pass. My parents still help me out on that. Wink

With a DVC discount, premium annual pass, $484 per person, excluding tax. Ironically, that is $1 less than a regular annual pass confused . That's around $2,000 for all of us, but we get at least two trips out of it. Sometimes a month worth of trips. So about $17 a day per person.
