My next trip!!!

I JUST got done booking my next Disney trip hooray!! and I can even give you and advance trip report, Relaxed Relaxed Relaxed You see I just booked my next vacay for Vero Beach for 2 weeks from Nov. 1 to Nov.15 on DVC points. I have enough points left over for a 2 week stay AT Disney later.I also booked my plane fare at the same time. For round trip from Boston to Orlando for 2 people was $480. Heck with my high performance cars seriously it costs me MORE than that just for gas and then when you throw in motels along the way (to & fro) it really is a great deal. Of course the rates will come down tomorrow with my luck. It's a done deal but would you go to Vero Beach for a change of pace?

Honestly Vettelover I do not think we would. Neither of us are the relaxing types. We are more the go go go type. I do want to see lots of pictures of the resort though. I am sure it is beautiful. And, I am sure if you are looking for a really relaxing vacation you will be more than happy with your trip.

I would do the relaxing 2 weeks followed by the relaxing world trip for 2 weeks, that would actually work out for us. CarJust is a beach guy and I am not so much being severely myopic. But a wonderful combination of the best of both worlds

Congratulations! That's so awesome. We would totally go to Vero! - I love, love Disney but we do take a trip here and there now and then, since WDW is so close.

I read that post as an implied invitation to come crash with you in Vero beach and I gladly accept. Make some room on the couch because I'm in the mood for some relaxation. I bet you'll have an awesome time!

Our room has two beds much like the OKW studios so your welcome. But be forewarned I sometimes snore.

Ohh sounds like fun. I was going to say you were going to be there at the same time we are then realized your not actually going to be at disney. That is great on airfare. Where did you get it at? We need to get ours booked for November.

Got the rates from Jet Blue right off their website, they just the other day opened up their booking through Jan. 12. Like I said I know what my cars get for mileage and it works out cheaper for the flight. Try this out it is pretty accurate.

Newsflash Newsflash!!! after spending the weekend having second thoughts and debating my latest booking, I came to the realization that we would go stark raving mad and bonkers on that trip to JUST Vero Beach, I just this second got off the phone with member services and changed my trip to my home resort SSR for the same time slot Nov. 1st to the 15th.I would much rather be at WDW than lay on the beach and have people try to roll me back into the water trying to save the beached whale. so MrHub you can put me on the "Going to WDW list".

Ha ha!! Couldn't stay away, eh? I've always wondered that about Vero Beach -- how could you be so close to Disney World, but not AT Disney World? I'm sure it would be beautiful, but...

So does this mean you get two weeks in Disney...then another two weeks in Disney this year (since you were planning to head to Disney World after the Vero trip)?

It looks that way unless I decide to bank my remaining DVC point to a later date. Right now its up in the air, I am not one to look TOO far into the future.
