I have to cast a vote for the Earl of Sandwich too. My favorite place to eat in Downtown. It's our Go-To restaurant on our first day at WDW. We generally do the Downtown thing on our first day so we don't burn a ticket on a short arrival day. It gives a great "first day immersion" experience, a great meal at the Earl and just soak up the Disney atmosphere. Then we are really ready for a "Full-On" Disney day on day 2!!!!

There are many great places to dine at WDW, but one of our favorites I think doesn't get nearly enough credit. The Earl of Sandwich (at Downtown Disney) is out of this world, and you can use your Disney dining plan there.

Yeah, if you arrive late in the day I like to do a "mini-day" to get me psyched for the next day instead of going to a park.

Spectromagic is one of my favorites! Will you be there when they bring back the Electric Light Parade this summer??

Unfortunately I don't think so, I'm not sure when they are planning that.

Good question! I remember seeing all of the news articles, but can't remember exact days. It'd be great to see, but Spectromagic is amazing as well clapping

What are you most looking forward to about the trip?

Hmmm...That's a good question. I think everything, the whole ideal of it, since this will be my husband and I's first real trip together. I'm not counting a road trip to a wedding in New York with a friend...that was a fiasco.

Oh no! Sounds like a great story there!!

I love your answer, too. Sometimes it's not what you DO on the trip, it's just the fact that you're finally taking the trip with someone you love. Everything will be magical.

Great news! It's tomorrow!! I hope you're all packed up, but if you're anything like me, all the clothes are still heaped in the laundry basket and you're at the store buying detergent as we speak Wink

Sounds like a blast. You can do MK on Wed if you're already AK-ed out. Have a great time! yay
