Park secrets

I'm late to this party so I may have missed a good thread..but I saw a thread about Disney Secrets on here which recruited me to make an account. However, most of those tips and secrets were about restaurants or places to relax. I want secrets about the park. And not just hidden mickeys, I want to know things like the Tom Sawyer Island thing. I know how to vacation, I don't need tips on that. I need some small, but interesting things that you can find in the park! It make the day much more exciting! Plus, I want to impress my folks by knowing all of these Disney World secrets mickey

So what are your best "fun" but well kept tips on specific aspects of the park that aren't involved with food? Much appreciated everyone!

Welcome to our site! I'm sure you and your family will have a fun vacation no mater what. Keep searching the old threads, there are some really cool Disney secrets like you are looking for on at least one thread, you just haven't found the right one yet. I am not tech savvy enough to find them and get you a link, but there's lots of others on here that are and maybe they will help you.
Good luck and have a fun tip!

Make sure you download all the Disney apps too, they tell you all the wait times at the different attractions, restaurants around you, park hrs, special events, concert times, character greetings, anything you need to know. We've found the wait times to be accurate, they get them from the boards in the parks. I think the free one has ads, but you can pay for one w no ads. I have a super cool app, I think it's called Disney memories. You can decorate your pics w all kinds of borders and mickey ears and funky things. We love to take pics at Disney and decorate them.
There's a few threads on here about the Disney apps too. I have an android and there's several available that we like to use.

I got both of these apps the other day! I've been a Disney freak the last couple of days! I've been reading all over these boards too and decided to finally make an account!

I'm glad I found the link for this. I had known about the "forced perspective" design on Main Street, but many ( most) of the other info was new to me.

One thing I always enjoy passing along regarding Disney Secrets, is when you go to DHS, in the Muppets 3D attraction, while you're waiting to get in, one of the decorations is a net that has various colored blocks in it. This is supposed to be a net full of jello, a play on words on the name of one of the original Mousekateers Annette Funicello.
