Pin & Vinylmation Trading at Doorway to Dreams Chicago

Pin & Vinylmation Trading at Doorway to Dreams Chicago

I found this on DVC News today Smile

"The Doorway to Dreams sales center in suburban Chicago has planned a number of Disney pin and Vinylmation trading days throughout the month of July.

Disney fans can stop by on July 14, 21 and 28, 2012 between the hours of 11am - 4pm to trade Disney pins and Vinylmation figures at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois."

Though I'm excited that they're doing this, I don't quite understand, because you can always stop in to Doorway to Dreams for some trading. My kids do it all the time. Smile Perhaps they thought a press release would bring some more folks in the door.

See... I wish there was something near us for us to do this. That would be a lot of fun.

There kinda is something like that near us! It's a yearly Disneyana Convention in Dayton, which happened to be this past weekend. I've been trying to go to it for the past 2 years, unsuccessfully, I might add. sad It is hosted by Plane Crazy chapter of Disneyana Fan Club. A glorious weekend of pintrading and vinylmation trading, along side other Disney enthusiasts like ourselves mickey Not to mention, they normally bring in 2 special Disney speakers. Last year was Bill Farmer-Goofy and Margaret Kerry-Tinkerbell. They also have people who set up and sell Disneyana, (which if anyone is unfamiliar with) is the term given to all things Disney. And they hold silent auctions for Disneyana as well. If anyone on here has gone to this one, I would like to hear your thoughts on it. I have started buying Disneyana and am hooked!

Yeah we got an email about this and debated about going but we ended up being out of town this weekend

PS- I am willing to send you a list of the ones I have and then please write to me and we can see if we can do A trade I have most new one's because I am a new one just starting collect but I am telling you the truth that is why my score is zero because I am a new trader that is why most of my Vinylmation are pretty much the newest that came out. I think they did a good job, some of these look real and also just plain old cute looking,But maybe I will be lucky and so will you and we will meet up and you can get the new one's you need if you want to trade with me and I have other's. If you have friends that you know need or are looking for anything I name or say I have can you send them or float them over my way? I have a complete set of the nursery rhymes, I also have some doubles of the nursery rhymes set or series the one's I got doubles of are the 3 blind mice,3 Little pigs,Little Bo peep, Twinkle twinkle little star,Mother Goose,Little boy blue,Little old woman who live's in a shoe,hey diddle diddle the cat a the fiddle.That is the end of the extra of the nursery rhymes, The Lady that worked at the Disney Store said I was the first one to buy some of the nursery rhymes Vinylmation. I also have the Nerds Chip, Dale and Pluto, I also have the Vinylmation I love (heart) Mickey(MM), I got the kind of clear one's but when you look at it long time in a way it kind of a little bit looks like a bubble gum ball machine holder, the other one is in the same series love (mm) Mickey Mouse- his face is purple and white and it was in a way clears again you can pretty much see through it, it has strips on the arms and a green belly and a heart with 3 rings of hearts around it and a little bold white one in the middle. Queen of hearts ,Smee,Si and Am, Country daisy duck.So if you have any question's or you would like to or love to trade with me, all you have to do is write me a little note, drop me a letter and I hope we can work something out thanks For you time hope you have a great a magcai DAY!!!!!
