POLL: Should we extend our September stay to be able to attend MNSSHP?

Well the September 09 dates for MNSSHP are out and they are sticking to their Friday and Tuesday schedule. Problem is, our stay at DAK villas Kidani Village is from Saturday to Tuesday afternoon, thus missing MNSSHP.

We do have enough developer points to stay an extra night and would be able to go to the party. Should we do that even though it'd mean a resort change during our stay? (Developer points need to be used at SSR only)

That's a big AFFIRMATIVE in my book. You've got the points, you've got the time, and MNSSHP is the best! Moving isn't that big of a pain.

do you lose your points if you don't use them this year?

Yes, I lose the Developer points if I don't use them by Oct 1.

Even more compelling then. Easier than selling them and more fun too! I always vote for parties!

Then, yes, absolutely use them if you lose them. See if you can do SSR the first night and move Kidani to the second portion of the trip, then you don't have to pack up a hotel room you've been in for several days.

I should add one more negative to extending our stay. Since the added day would be a weekday, it means we'd need to use another vacation day from work. Not a big deal, but still something to consider.

Well, regardless of how you arrange it it's going to be packing up after 1 day and packing up after several. Just a matter of whether you're going to the airport or to SSR.

Makes sense to me! We love mnsshp.

Vacation days are there for you to use 'em!

I suppose asking a crowd like this if you should stay in Disney World for longer is kind of foregone conclusion.
