Pop Century Renovations

Does anyone know which buildings have been renovated at Pop Century? We'll be staying there in November and would love to have one of the renovated rooms. wink

They should be pretty close to done by then, no?

I've heard that one of the 70's buildings has been renovated so far, but that's all I've heard.

I've heard it'll take about a year, and they started sometime in Dec/Jan. Millie, they should be just about done by the time you go. The new rooms look awesome -- have you seen pics?

Yes, I've seen the pics on Allears...LCD TV!!! New mattresses - I hope!! Oh that they'll be the same mattresses as at POR...those beds are so comfortable!

Good question, Annie! I'm not sure they do. Maybe the pirate rooms at CBR, but not sure about the others!

Now's probably a good time to get lots of LCDs. There are a glut of them from during the boom times and people are putting off those kind of purchases. Probably a great time to get a deal if you're willing to buy 5,000 of them like Disney.

When we stayed at the CBR in January on our unexpected extra night, we did not have a LCD tv in our room. Standard tube tv.

Bummer! Sounds like Pop is a better "value" than CBR these days (was that a pun?) wink
