Has anyone tried Portobello? I've read conflicting reviews.

Yes! Jan and I ate there once last December. It was after they had done thesr renovation. Food was OK but nothing special. It's in the $$ price range.
Nothing special enough for us to go back.

I think it's fine, but, agreed that it's nothing special. I think, for the money, you could get a better experience elsewhere. Decent Italian for Disney World, though!

Don't have the minestrone soup!
It's not a favorite place, and I'd rather go elsewhere. Even Fulton's is better.
Of course, this is a review of the place before the recent changes.

Thanks for the reviews. I was considering Portobello, but might choose a different DTD restaurant instead. Or shell out the cash for Il Mulino...

It's certainly nothing fancy, but it's hard to beat the food at Earl of Sandwich.

What have you heard about Il Mulino, admin? I've heard it's pricey, but haven't heard about the food.
