Refillables problem...

Aarrgghh...Still planning my two resort stay and going thro any obstacles I may encounter..So far so good...Yes we would get two sets of magic bands..No we are not doing the DDP so no problem with that..Then it hit me..Refillables are now chipped. eek We have a collection of these at home and always bought new ones for every vacation..But here's the thing..If we stay at AKL the first week and purchase our three mugs,at the end of that week does our mug expire..It being two separate resort bookings, or can we still use our mug at WL...?....I phoned the Disney hot line and the lady said she thinks we may have to purchase another three mugs at our second resort....Any ideas on this folks.?..

As I recall, yes, you would have to buy a new set of mugs for the second resort.

Hmmmmm.... I thought they were good for 14 days and could work at any resort?

I was not sure about this. So, I googled it. According to The Disney Food Blog you would not need to buy two sets of mugs. Simply purchase them at your first resort for length of stay. They should work at both resorts.

Scrappy...You are spot on...My good lady has found an article on a site called Mouse for Less...Yes..You purchase the mugs for the entire stay at your first resort..They can be used at any disney resort... awesome

We are doing a split stay in September and I've been wondering the same thing. I'm so glad you asked this Watchmaker awesome

In October, I bought one at All-Star Sports for length of stay and was able to use it when I moved to POR.
