We've been lucky enough to see PUSH our last few visits. It's hilarious to watch the interaction with both adults and children. It would be a real loss to see this go.

I do believe there are a couple guys that are Pushes helpers. They both can't have contract disagreements.

My understanding is that PUSH doesn't belong to Disney. The contract dispute is between Disney and the company that owns PUSH and some other items that are used by Disney...not the employees that handle PUSH.

Maybe Disney should do their own version and call it "Shove". So when Push comes to Shove...

Seriously though, I think Push is awesome! I've seen him twice. It's just such great idea and so entertaining. Everyone loves Push!

The funny thing is that the first time I encountered Push, I didn't know anything about it. I just suddenly saw this trash can running around talking. I was like "What the ?????". I was laughing so hard when I saw what it was doing.

Ziti Sister's final performance will be February 22. I hope to be there for that. They are a trip.

I saw Push doing it's thing 2 weeks ago. If I knew it was on the way out, I would have stopped and watched the whole show.

The Mouse pays little heed to what guests want. Once they make up their mind something will go, nothing can stop it. There was an huge, organized, concerted effort to Save the Adventurers Club and it was completely ignored.

just seen a post on inside the magic facebook page to say apparently Disney have confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel that push Isn't going anywhere????

I really hope he stays I've never managed to catch him and would be such a shame if I never could

He was making fun of us that work fastpass+ saying we do nothing all day but stand there and look pretty. He said that Starbucks is so expensive so they can pay us to stand there. He also said that they may need to add a second Starbucks to help pay for us.

I also saw the post/thread where Disney have said he isn't going anywhere.

We have seen him once and he was really funny, thankfully he didn't make fun of any CMs when we saw him.

I am sorry to post this but according to two other sites PUSH finished yesterday despite what they (Disney) told the Sentinnel. Apparently they couldn't resolve the contract dispute. So the CMs are pushing people towards oh deep joy what fun a dance party. Blah

I am sorry to hear this but as a side note I really think those Imagineers would have had the capability to design and build their own PUSH, without having to lease it from another designer.
After all the Imagineers lists of accomplishments are a mile long, just saying..

Coming from someone who loathes the dance parties everywhere in the bubble, it's obviously not good news for me.

I never had the opportunity to meet PUSH but for park guests who did, it had to be a thrill getting to interact with him in Tomorrowland. The videos I saw on YouTube were moments I swear I would never see at a regular theme park. The way I see it, it's a lose-lose situation. Disney's PR looks really bad because they told a major newspaper like the Sentinnel PUSH was not leaving but now look at the result and the park guests lose out on another little thing that makes WDW stand out. All that's left are the memories PUSH brought to park guests and here are a few I found on YouTube:

However, if someone managed to copyright the idea before, Disney would not have the legal right to design their own Push. Disney knows better than anyone the value and laws of intellectual property. They pretty much wrote the book.
