Scavenger hunt locations

So you guys remember I was asking a while back about leading a mini-"tour group" through Disney World, right? mickey

Well, I'm somewhat off the hook on that, but I've volunteered to put together a scavenger hunt (thanks teacherdrama and caitie for reminding me!) for the group to complete and I want your help!!

Can you think of unique places in the Magic Kingdom to include in the hunt? (Don't worry, I can think up the actual clues!)

I'll tell you, the hardest one we had was to find "Gopher's Home" in Pooh's Playground!

I couldn't even find the paper in the photograph you guys posted! laugh And I bet it didn't help that there were a bunch of little kids staring you down for invading their play area waiting

Bali, this sounds like fun. I'd send everyone somewhere in ToonTown. Maybe to the big Map in Donald's house. That should make for a fun clue.

Can you include things that are actually ON rides?

I think digging up clues in the Boneyard or similar area (shops in the area even) would be fun.

There are a TON of interesting little things in the Dino-shops. The one right by the Primeval Whirl has so much stuff in it. I wonder if it would be too obscure.

@Brad Definitely include things on rides! That's a great idea!

@LIFL Awesome! I love the idea of them scouring the sand with a bunch of little kids looking at them like they're bonkers... Wink

How about Cinderella's fountain or Mickey's House? I also think the view of it's a small world at pinnochio's village haus could make for an interesting clue.

Also, pick out some obscure feature that you can only see while you're on the train!

I like that, too. And I like the idea of using something they can only see from the train. Good idea to make them GO somewhere to actually see a "clue."

This could work in Animal Kingdom, too, at the Conservation Station (or whatever it's called these days)

AK may be the best park for a scavenger hunt if you ask me.

They DO have all of those twisty turny paths. And you could hide something in the "bat room"!

Also just thought of something -- you could get Cast members in on the deal (assuming you do the scavenger hunt while they're still working).

Was just thinking that you should use the glass slipper as a scavenger hunt location (the photo location from the other thread). Make people take a photo before they get the next clue!

Also, you could now do a "Fantasyland Scavenger Hunt" to commemorate all the of the places that will soon be "no more."

Both really good ideas. I wonder where I'd put the clue for the glass slipper. Maybe I could figure out a way to get a Cinderella's Royal Table person to give it to them. awesome
