If your there one day then go open to close but I'm an vacation man! I usually see one rope drop a trip thanks to early tours and that's enough for me. Besides, I would rather stay late in the parks, I'm more of a night person.

I rope drop more days than not, but there has to be some sleeping in. But usually we just hit rope drop then go take a nap later in the day when the parks are busy.

We love our rope drop mornings! It's fun to ride all those rides and then leave by 10am when everyone else is just arriving.

Both. It all depends on the day, what we have and haven't ridden, and how exhausted we are!

I am a morning person, so of course, we get to the parks early and often, at the rope drop. The opening can be quite entertaining, especially at the Magic Kingdom.

What I tend to do often is go to the park that had its EMH the night before. You'd be amazed at how uncrowded that park is early the next morning.

zapperz,

i think it's interesting that mk rope drop is the only one that really strikes me as a show. the rest just annoy me when i want to get into the park, but mk's rope drop is a fun to watch.

I agree completely! The mid-day rush is the perfect time to take a nap, resort hop or lay by the pool!

Besides, if we hadn't been at the Studios for rope drop, we wouldn't have been able to ride Toy Story Midway Mania three times each day before 10:00! Then we got to watch people wait in line for two hours after FP's ran out!!!

Lol...not even close! We definately got better on every ride, but were still far from the high score list...even first thing in the morning! Either they make those numbers up or we stink! laugh

I've actually found that I do the best the first time I ride it and then gradually get worse. I can not explain this phenomenon. I think maybe my arm gets tired.
