Anyone ever gotten any type of special FastPass?
One time, and only once, when I got my fastpass for a ride (at DMGMS - at the time) I got the FP for that ride as well as a special FP for another ride. I don't remember exactly what it said on it, but it was something along the lines of 'congratulations'. It really made my day. I mean, it's "just a FP" but it was for one of the most popular rides and at a busy time of day. Oh, and it allowed for my whole family to use it.
I never knew there was such a thing. We've gotten a Dram Fastpass during the year of a million dreams and I've gotten the fastpasses from the DVC tour, but I've never seen any time you get something unique from the machine.

Did it come out of the machine? Maybe it was a special promotion.
Yeah it did. Took my family tickets to get fast passes and when I put in one (I think the second one) I got the expected FP with the added surprise.

We got extra FPs for Philharmagic when we got them for the Pooh ride. We'd already been to though, so we kept them as souvenirs.

That's cool. I wonder if other rides do that...and how often they do it.

That's interesting. Was Philharmagic new at the time? From what I read they tend to give out those extra fastpasses to get people to go to new/under-utilized attractions.

, but seriously, it was in December last year. I don't know when Philharmagic opened so don't know if it was new at the time or just quiet.

That's definitely past the window of when I'd expect them to still be promoting Philharmagic. It's a pretty popular attraction.
I can't imagine they can be too advanced with how they do the "extra fast pass" thing, since they'd actually have to load them up. It would make a lot of sense to try to divert people to attractions that can soak up people, but I'm not sure they have the capability. Maybe Philharmagic is just always under-utilized comparatively.
I've never gotten a bonus fastpass...I'm kind of jealous.
Only one I ever got was at AK during year of a million dreams. WE were coming off the safari and a couple of cast members stopped us. They gave us a dream pass for the whole AK. The only ones we really wanted though were for Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids -- we used those then on our way out found a couple first coming in and gave it to them (we took a picture with the passes as our souvenir) -- we totally made their day. It was great!
