Spots to watch parades?

Anyone have any good tips about where to watch parades without having to stake out for an hour? Especially MK (MNSSHP, Spectro, and the 3:00 parade).

That's a great question. I've always been a fan of getting a spot in frontierland, because it's usually less crowded than the hub or main street. When they're there, I try to snag a rocking chair an hour early and just read a book until the parade starts, but lately the rocking chairs haven't been at LTT any more.

I will give this little tidbit--for MNSSHP and Spectro, be sure to look where the huge lightpoles are set up. They don't turn on the lights until right before the parade starts, and if they're shining in your eyes it can really ruin the experience!

Great photo! I think a dole whip is as good as a book any day. I forgot about those rocking chairs over by Pecos Bill's, too. Good find.

Tony, did people look at them enviously for getting such good seats?
