Stark Expo Coming to Disneyland?

From IGN.com:

Quote:
We have always thought that the Stark Expo in Iron Man 2 would make a lovely attraction at one of the Disney theme parks, and now it seems that the rumors and speculation of the Stark Expo becoming a reality are, indeed, becoming a reality for Disneyland. You've got to love it when a plan comes together.

Furious Fanboys reports the rumor that Walt Disney Imagineering has renderings of the infrastructure already in place for the initial design of the theme. It seems the information is based on an unknown source on Twitter, @ThemeParkOne, who claims that a lot of information is already in place for the Stark Expo's coming to fruition.

It seems the less-than-popular Innoventions building, which was concocted under the influence of Michael Eisner, will be the grounds for which the Stark Expo is laid upon. It should provide adequate space and will remove one of the less desirable structures from the park's floor plan. No word on exactly when it will open, but we would expect within the next couple of years is in their targeted area; anything less would be striking while the Iron (Man) is cold.

I never saw the second movie... I haven't been inside Innoventions in about 12 years cause I was never interested. I suppose anything they might try to improve it is okay by me.

I second that! FAB pic of RDJr., Mase! Thanks for that! I thought the same thing when I saw IM2 - the "vintage film footage" and model are obviously modeled after Walt and his talks about WDW, right down to the wood paneling. Smile

The one thing I love about the Iron Man movies is Stark in general. When I watched the Batman movies... sometimes Bruce Wayne is a bit boring because he plays two parts. The spoiled Rich Kid who has to have everything, and the other who hates that part of him, but doesnt want anyone to know who he truly is. So this is one reason why I love Tony Stark. He knows he has money. He lets everyone know who he is, and he doesnt care! RDJr does a FANTASTIC job of this! Sometimes I love watching Tony Stark in action OVER seeing Iron Man on the screen! lol

I couldn't agree more! I love, love his portrayal. He makes the movie imo. The juxtaposition of the powerful and the vulnerable. He is just amazing. I hope the next one is as good as the first two, which I will gladly watch over and over and over... (PS, in my case, disclaimer: I've had a thing for RD Jr. since I was a teenager lolololol. That doesn't hurt, probably.)

But dont forget. You will need to watch Thor and Captain America because Iron Man will be in The Avengers next year, then in 2013 we will have Iron Man 3 biggrin clapping

I think Captain America looks really, really interesting! Blue Sky Disney has had a lot of cool things to say about it, too. Now Thor...I need to brush up on.

Honestly, had Iron Man not starred RD Jr., I probably wouldn't have seen it. I've yet to see a Transformers film. And I am TOTALLY fine with that.

In Iron Man 2, Tony Starks starts this Stark Expo where the leading in technology can showcase what they have in this YEAR LONG event. They would show off anything from games, to the latest in military technology. I cant remember how big (size wise) it was... but imagine an Expo the size of The Magic Kingdom I believe.

Ohh..ok! That would be neat to see..I haven't seen Innoventions in DL but I assume its not any more exciting than Innoventions in WDW..and those bad boys need a makeover.

Yeah... its like you take Innoventions, and make it better. Possibly add Disney Quest into it (The part with all of the 3D stuff, and the cooler games).
