Have you seen this story? I first saw the photo album pop up on Facebook but it looks like poor Nelson has been place on leave. Crazy!

I heard about this but I didn't realize it was a Disney cruise! Nelson will be in A LOT of trouble.

I had seen this on Facebook but didn't really check it out before. Oh my gosh! Good for her posting it like she did! I do hope Nelson gets what for. Though I have to wonder if the phone was really stolen, or if it had been misplaced. Regardless, using it to document a good time with your friends was just stupid!

ha ha ha... I couldnt agree more! The other thing is... and I guess this is a question for anyone with an iPhone. I use the Find iPhone app for everything that I have that is Mac. From my MacBook Pro, to both of the iPads, and my wifes iPhone and mine. Does everyone else? I would think this would be on everyones iPhone, but I guess from this article... that this person didnt use it.

I have it on my phone, but I've never used it. Also, I believe that the app only works on a iPhone 4 or Higher, not sure which she had.
What a clown....... Probably the only person not to have seen an iPhone ad on TV. Hope the owner got their phone back, I know my wife an I would both be lost without ours.

Should work with any iPhone to be honest. Because it works with both GPS and WiFi to find the unit.

Prey Project software will help you trace non-apple devices (eg Android phones or windows laptops) if they go missing.
This person must have been stupid to think they wouldn't get caught doing this. It's not as though they can hide on a cruise ship.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
Typical though, they are all blaming Disney and saying she should be cruising for "free" from now on! Like Disney paid this guy just to steal her phone, so it all Disney's fault. Those are the kind of people that really erk me! I'd like to see if she even follows through to press charges, probobly not because she won't want to go to court, and then she will complain about Disney that they didn't do anything.

Oh.... she will lose. Yeah... the guy stole her phone, but it didnt look like she was doing much about it. Just her posting the pics of it all is enough to show she wasnt doing everything she could do. She could had downloaded Find My iPhone, and used her computer to find it... or wipe it... or send a message to the idiot saying I know what your doing.
But it is stupid if people think its Disneys fault and she deserves free cruises...

If my wife hasn't heard from me... she will get on Find My iPhone, and see where I'm at. Ive threatened her if she kept it up, ill take my phone off of it... lol

As for the find my phone thing you have to opt in to set that up and I know lots of people who don't have it set up, and if it was my phone they'd stolen how much more than her could I have done? I'd have uploaded the pictures too in an attempt to name and shame whoever had my phone! Posting up those pics will have been more affective than texting him, 'i know you have my phone' etc.
Disney is not to blame for this, if it had happened in the supermarket would they have to give her a years worth of free grocerys? Nope. These things can happen anywhere.
