Sunday's ONCE UPON A TIME episode, "Red Handed"

Did anyone watch last night's episode that gave the backstory on "Little Red Riding Hood"? What did you think? I was really shocked at the "twist" they spun on it.

Just got home from a week at sea, I'm trying to catch up on my TV tonight! I'll be sure to watch this one and let you know what I think!

Okay, I finally watched 'Red Handed'
Hrmmm... not sure how I feel about that one.

Interesting twist on the Red Riding Hood story. Poor Peter, that was just sort of wrong. I love the actress playing Scarlett, she has a vivaciousness makes me smile. She seems so innocent, yet so not.

I was fairly sure that what was in the box would belong to David. The zombie-ness of his actions seemed controlled to me. The fingerprints? Hrmmm... we'll see how that plays out.

I missed not having Mr. Gold in the episode, I like him. What did you think about it all?

I wasn't crazy about the "twist" on Little Red Riding Hood. It seemed too bizarre. If Granny knows she never wears her red cape, and she's always on Red about wearing it, why is she suprised? I was hoping it would have been a bit scarier. Was "Peter" supposed to be the character from the "Peter and the Wolf" tale? Who is Dr. Whale, Monstro from "Pinochio"? Isn't the heart in the box that of a deer that the "hunter", "Grahm" from "Snow White" kills and presents to the Evil Queen instead of Snow's heart?

The Huntsman gave the Queen that box, and I guess I assumed it would still be in her vault. But yes, if it were that huntsman box then it would explain the fingerprints. They did say thought that they had found a "human" heart in the box, so that still leaves a question in my mind.

In the Red Riding Hood movie from last summer also had a Peter in the boyfriends type role, like the Once Upon A Time version does. I think he must be in the original version of the tale. I don't think that there's a Peter and the Wolf link there.

Dr. Whale... Hrmm... Not sure who he is yet. It would be weird if he was actually a Whale, wouldn't it?

Henry's shrink is actually "Jimeny Cricket", so Dr. Whale could be a real whale if the doctor is a bug.....You never know with this show......
