Tennis Anyone? The Potential Grand Floridian Expansion

http://www.wesh.com/themeparks/27285748/detail.html

We talked about this a little, but I wondered about a couple of things, and wondered if y'all were curious as well. I'm kind of bummed that they're scrapping even more tennis courts - they took out the Contemporary's to make way for BLT - but I'm assuming it's because they're being underutilized.

I guess two questions: Are DH and I the only ones that take our tennis rackets with us to WDW?

How do you Poly fans feel about a potential changing shoreline? Do you think GF will crowd the poly with this expansion?

Finally, do you think this is DVC, or just additional rooms?

Im guess its DVC. The Bay Lake being done... they may be looking for something new. So im leaning on DVC.

As in rackets... not us! But would love to take my clubs once!

Don't play tennis, but if we didn't we wouldn't play. We never have enough park time as it is.

Thanks for posting jess, Boy I hope that won't effect our Jan 2012 trip! I still cant imagine that they would have espestos still though since they just did a major refurb in 2007 & O'Hana's was just refurbed in Jan 2011.

Interesting. Yes, anytime they've had to do refurbs on the older buildings, they've had to address asbestos, I believe. They had to replace an old oven in the Contemporary while I was there, and subsequently had to do asbestos removal. The whole area was tented, and we all had to sign waivers. I've never read this blog. They must have inside connections to sound so confident.

Thanks for posting, Jess!
