I just joined the gadget world and got an iPad for Christmas..I'm on it now !! I've spent the last three days figuring this thing out!
I've gotten a few cool apps but I was hoping the more tech savvy members could recommend some good apps? I've already gotten the Disney wait times and the park maps but any other suggestions would be awesome. Disney or not...and the freeer the better..I'm cheap!

What do you like to do there are all sorts of apps for EVERYTHING, I think I have a dozen disney apps alone on my iphone

It's lots of fun!! It's one of those things I never knew I needed until I got it..now I'm pretty sure I'll get to the days where I'll think "ohh I don't want to drag out the laptop for that..." haha!

I'll be really interested in hearing "how" you use it...I confess, I don't quite get why I "need" one. Especially since I have an iPhone and a laptop? So please, please, share all about it! (I am intrigued by the whole e-book thing...although I can't totally fathom giving up real books. But it would be awesome to have on a trip - on a plane especially.)

I use it all the time..I'm using it now actually 
the screen is much bigger so it's like I am on a computer. I can also stream Netflix on it which I can do on my iPhone but the screen is much bigger. I can also use some apps to find recipes & make a grocery list..which I can check off.
Basically I don't need one and I never would have bought it for myself but it's nice to have!

Bella I agree my husband surprised me with one for Christmas thought i was getting a colored nook but to my surprise it was an Ipad. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't say enough things about it. Happy IPADDING

I have been wearing out the iPad I got for Christmas. Am I doing something with it I couldn't do with my computer? No....but I'm having a blast anyway! 
Lol me too my husband said he was going to give my laptop away to my niece going to college this august I said ok I have not booted the laptop up since Christmas I truly don't miss it

Truly..you don't need it. There is nothing you can't do..in fact you can do more on your laptop. The thing is just NEAT..and I'm obsessed.
