Tink Question!

For those of you who have met Tink (or her fairy friends)... I am planning on making wings for a fairy costume to wear at MNSSHP. I have downloaded quite a few photos for reference but would love to hear from someone who has seen her in person. I have seen at least two versions of her wings and would like to know what they are made of.

Here are a couple of Blondie with her and Periwinkle Mom and Dad went in with her so I didn't get to see them in person. They are quite beautiful!!!!

I don't have the answer to your question of what Disney uses for the wings. Most wings I have seen have been made with a nylon mesh stretched over a wire frame.

If you decided that you don't really want to make them yourself, check out On Gossamer Wings, the artist creates some truly stunning wings for the fairie community.
